How to Rank For a Keyword and The 2019 On Page SEO Checklist

In this post I will show you step by step how to rank for a keyword in 2019. Eventhough we will be using our 2019 SEO checklist, these strategies mentioned below are fairly evergreen. They will work for years to come because here at The Affiliate Resource we use a foundational approach to ranking blog posts and pages on the search engines.

The methods we use work. I own two different blogs in two completely different niches and these principles work for both niches. Plus, thousands of students within the affiliate marketing community for which I belong use these same foundational strategies and have many 5, 6 and 7 figure earners within the affiliate marketing space. So, plain and simple, the following strategies work, and they work in 2019 and beyond.

How To Rank For A Keyword

That being said, most people are interested in learning how to rank for a keyword because they are interested in driving free traffic for their website, for whatever reason. The reason does not really matter because the strategies that work are the same regardless of the reason you want to drive traffic to your website.

In our case, we drive traffic to our websites to help us provide information to help others find the information they are looking for and to recommend products and services to potential customers through affiliate marketing.

The following methods include sound SEO (search engine optimization) principles which include both on-page and off-page SEO strategies. Follow these strategies and you can easily rank for keywords that follow these guidelines.

Step By Step Guide In Affiliate Marketing

Find the Right Keyword to Rank For

Before we use the 2019 SEO checklist, me must start our with the right keyword phrase to try and rank for. This is the heart of the foundation to rank on t he first page of the major search engines. Keep in mind, we are attempting to rank on the three top search engines. Google, Bing and Yahoo.

To find the right keyword phrase we need to focus on three different elements, and look at the desired metrics involved with these elements. The elements include:

  • Average monthly search volumeHow To Rank For a keyword
  • Website Competition
  • SEO score

Let’s break these three elements down and discuss the desired metrics.

Average monthly search volume

This element is self-explanatory. This is the number of people who are searching the keyword phrase you are trying to rank for. A good metric to look for here is at least 100 searches per month or higher. This metric is a minimum number. It is an “at least” number. So the higher the better, but, we have to balance it with your competition, because the lower the competition the better. Of course, this also means the higher the number of monthly searches, the higher the competition, and what we want is lower competition. So, like most things in life, it’s a balance.

Website Competition

Website competition really means the number of other websites that are trying to rank for the exact keyword phrase you are trying to rank for. This is also known as QSR, which stands for “Quoted Search Results”. It specifically tells you the number of competing websites. I believe the ideal metric for this element is 50 or below, at least for a younger website. For an older, more established website, 100 or below would be a good metric. Just keep in mind, the lower this value is, the better.

SEO Score

The SEO Score is a percentage score indicating how difficult it would be to get onto the first page of Google. 100 is the highest, meaning it would be very easy to rank for that particular keyword phrase. For this particular metric I always try to stay above 90.

So to review the ideal metrics, you want the keyword phrase to be 100 or above, the competition to be at least below 100, ideally 50 or below, and an SEO score of 90 or above. Now, you may think there are not that many keywords within these parameters, but I can assure you there are millions and millions of these types of keywords available.

You just need a good keyword tool to find them. I use a tool called Jaaxy. This tools gives you all the necessary information to find excellent keyword phrases to rank for. You can check out my Jaaxy review here to get all the details. I highly recommend it.

How To Rank For A Keyword

Provide Valuable Content For the Keyword You Want To Rank For

The next step of the process on how to rank for a keyword is to create valuable content on your blog post or article. I am sure you heard it said before, content is king. This is very important, because it is content and information that people are looking for. Once you find a good keyword phrase, you then want to write the kind of content that will help people find the information they are looking for.

It is not hard to write this type of content, it just requires some research on the subject at hand in short paragraphs. The length should be at least 1000 words, ideally 1500. Most of my articles and blog posts are 1500 words or more of content mixed with relevant images. This is very important because it breaks up the content making it easier for people to read it.

It is all about the user experience here. You want to give them what they are searching for. If you do this, they will read your content and be more likely to complete the call to action you are giving them.

The next thing you want to do in addition to adding images, is to add a relevant video. These are easy to find on YouTube, and yes, if the embed code is available, then you can legally use it. Just make sure the video is relevant to the subject matter you are writing about. The other option is to create your own video and embed it onto the post.

How To Use The Following On Page SEO Checklist For 2019

As we mentioned before, content is king when it comes to ranking in the search engines. But the queen of the content is using the following On Page SEO techniques while writing your content that is relevant to the keyword phrase you chose.

But, what are the On Page SEO techniques we use to rank ? They are as follows:

  • Finding the right Keyword phrase to rank for (high search volume/low competition)How To Rank For A Keyword
    • We covered this fairly well in the above sections
  • Put the Keyword phrase in the Post Title
    • I recommend that you put your researched keyword phrase in the post title exactly how it is. In other words, in the same order. If possible and grammatically correct, put it first, followed by a catchy line of text.
  • Put the Keyword phrase in the Meta Title
    • This is actually different from your post title. This is usually done through an SEO plugin such as Yoast or All In One SEO. The plugin provides a spot for this Meta title. Use the same suggestions provided above for the post title. The Meta title should be between 55 and 60 characters in length. It should be noted that you can have a different Meta title than the one you have in your actual post. The Meta Title is the one that shows up in the SERPS. This is short for “Search Engine Results Pages”.
  • Put the Keyword phrase in the Meta Description
    • This is also from your SEO plugin and there is a spot for this one as well. You want to make sure that you add your keyword phrase within the content of this description. The description will also appear in the SERPS. You want to make this description between 150 and 160 characters. Ideally, 155.
  • 1 Internal Link within the Post
    • In addition to having a site map, Google really likes to see interlinking within your website. What this means is that in your post or page that you link to another post or page of your website. Plus you want to do this with an anchor text. For example, if you want to link to a page that talks about a certain product review that you wrote and you named that particular post “Product A review”, then in your current post you might say something like, “I Talk specifically about product A in my Product A review”. Then you simply link “product A Review” to that particular blog post.How To Rank For A Keyword
  • 1 External Link within the Post (to an authority source)
    • Here you want to link to an outside authority source like Wikipedia or some other definition source. This is where you might want to define a work or phrase and then link it to a definition adding value to the reader. Another source besides Wikipedia can also be YouTube. Notice how I linked it to the YouTube site.
  • Use Alt tags within Images with relevant keywords
    • The use of images are very important. They break up long lines of text so that the attention of the reader does not easily drift. You want to add images along with short paragraphs and the use of bullet points. When you do use an image you want to add your keyword phrase in the Alt Text section of the image. The rest of the checklist is fairly self-explanatory so I won’s go into detail. Should you have any questions regarding these feel free to comment below.
  • Comments within your Post along with engagement (e.g. reply to comments)
  • Make sure your site is Mobile friendly
  • Fast Loading
  • Site SSL (https)
  • Create a video and add it to your post

Conclusion

As you can see ranking for a keyword phrase is not that difficult and by utilizing the proper keyword research you can start with both feet on the groups, so to speak. Also, with the proper use of the 2019 On Page SEO checklist that you can follow for every single post, it makes it that much easier.

One thing to consider is that as you write more and more content on your website, you will generate more and more traffic to your site. The reason for this is that each article or post stands on its own. 100 potential visitor here and 200 potential visitors there (meaning different posts) add up to thousands of visitors to your website, and depending on how you are monetizing your blog, can add up to a lot of profit for you.

How to Fetch as Google and Get More Traffic to Your Blog

As you may or may not know, Google Webmaster Tools has updated its platform to the new Google Search Console. In this post I want to discuss how to fetch as Google using the new platform as well as discuss other ways to get more traffic to your blog posts and pages.

By the way, it is no longer called Fetch As Google, but is now referred to as URL Inspection.

I will show you step by step of how to Fetch As Google in a minute. What I would like to discuss first, however, is why it is important to use the Search Console and how we can leverage this and other tactics to drive more traffic to your blog posts and increase your overall authority, regardless of what niche you may be in.

Why Use Google Search Console?

As many of you might know, there are on page SEO strategies as well as off page SEO strategies that we need to incorporate in order to rank our posts in the search engines. Here we will discuss some off page SEO strategies or what to do after you write you post. If you are interested in on-page SEO strategies, you can read our post on how to optimize blog posts for SEO here.

So, why use Google Search Console? Here are three main things I use it for that help me rank my posts:

  • It allows me to use the URL inspection feature to speed up the indexing process (the old fetch as Google)
  • It allows me to submit and resubmit my sitemap
  • It tells me what keyword phrases I am ranking for and what position they reside in Google overall
    • which also allows me to look for other keyword ideas

Over analyzing your Google Search Console can be a time sucker, so after each post I write, I quickly go through the above mentioned items in the order that they are written in.

Step By Step Guide In Affiliate Marketing

I write the post and then I immediately go to the Search console and ask Google to inspect my URL and then request them to index the page or post. This is the reason we want to “fetch as Google”. We are essentially telling Google that we created new content on our site and we want Google to “crawl” that article. Whether it is a post or page does not matter. In fact, I not only do this when I write a new post, but I also do this when I edit an old post or make any changes to a post.

This is OK to do by the way. If it wasn’t Google wouldn’t ask you if you made changes to your site.

The next thing I do is re-submit my site map. I do this immediately after the first step. And then finally, I take a look at the keywords that I am ranking for on pages other than the first page, and make improvement to my posts so that they will rank higher. This can be by getting more comments, or, if it is an old post, updating it with new information and then re-indexing it. In addition to this, I might go back and do more off-page SEO that I mention below.

In the next section below I will cover step by step how I do these three things.

How To Fetch As Google – Step by Step

In this section I will show you step by step how to not only fetch as Google, but specifically how I do the other two steps mentioned above as well.

I have created a walk through video that shows this process step by step.

As you can see the process is very easy to do. You just need to do this consistently for each and every post that you write. Whether it is a brand new post, or a modification of an old post.

Now, let’s talk about keywords for a minute. As I showed you in the video, Google Search Console shows you the keywords that you are currently ranking for and what position they are in on an average. You can use filters to find out exactly what countries you are ranking it for. By default, the Search Console gives you an average page rank.

One thing I do is if I see a keyword that I am ranking for, say on the 4th page of Google, but I don’t have an article specifically written centered on that keyword phrase, then I write one. Then that article with rank quite easily since I am already ranking for it. Odds are I will then rank that post on page one of Google. This is an awesome strategy to pick good keywords for upcoming articles.

If you do this in conjunction with using my free keyword generator, you will rank on the first page of Google more often than not. Using these two strategies together is a good tip for you to use.

Ways to Promote Your Blog Posts and Pages

How To Fetch As Google

As you can probably tell by now, I have a routine that I follow for every article I write. I am a fairly linear type of person, so when it comes to writing posts for SEO, for example, I follow the same routine each and every time. I do this also for the promotion of my posts. follow the following steps.

  • I create a video and link it to my post
  • I post the link on my YouTube channel under the discussion tab with some amount of content.
  • I post the link on my social media channels along with some amount of content.
  • I am a big fan of Pinterest, so I make sure I post it to a relevant board.
  • I post the link on my Flipboard Magazine
  • I comment on blog posts related to my niche (I don’t’ spend a bunch of time on this, but a few for each post ads up).

Now, stay tuned, for I will write another post that will detail exactly how I do the above mentioned items in detail. But for now, I believe you get the idea. These items are not that difficult to figure out, but if you are consistent with them they are quite effective.

Now I am not a big proponent of purchasing backlinks nor do I spend a lot of time trying to gather them with any kind of strategy other than what I am mentioning above. Backlinks are best when they are naturally occurring and social media seems to work just fine to spread the word.

I rank on page one of Google for many keywords and I do not have a lot of backlinks to my site. They are just not as important as they used to be. And, they can be dangerous to acquire. They can actually hurt your rankings considerably. Do not fall for the hype. I never outsource for website promotion. I will outsource content before I outsource website promotions.

So, there you have it. A step by step method on how to fetch as Google using the new Google Search Console. When change happens we have to adapt. Two main changes happened lately with Google, this is one of them. The other one is that Google Plus is no longer with us. I used to promote every post onto Google Plus, but I substituted it with the YouTube discussion feature. I really believe that YouTube is moving closer and closer to becoming a bigger social media platform rather than just a place to place video onto.

And, of course, YouTube is owned by Google, so I believe placing your link into YouTube certainly help with your rankings. For Google Loves Google and always will.

Prosperity Marketing System, Product Overview

The Prosperity Marketing System, PMS for short, is really a downline building program that allows the owner to promote whatever primary business they want to, in addition to earning a 100 percent front end commission for the system itself.

There are three levels of membership:

  • The Tour taker – is free and allows you to check out the system and use a splash page builder to create landing pages. The tour taker has very limited access and has no access to any actual training.
  • Student – A student can start with a 7-day trial and while in the trial can try to earn 100 percent commissions on new sign ups. They have complete access to the training, can integrate any autoresponder, integrate a tracker, customize (add or remove) 15 affiliate programs, and use the same primary business as their sponsor. Once the 7-day trial is over, it is then $12 a month.
  • Owner – This is a unique membership level. It is very similar to owning your own script. An owner has full control over editing any training page within the system and can totally add their own content. They can change the primary business page from their sponsors page to their own primary business (any company they want). This option is a one time fee of $97.

Pros and Cons

Even at the student level, there is a lot of customization options available within the Prosperity Marketing System. It is the heart of the benefits in my opinion. Having owned my own lead generation website and understanding how a website script works and how expensive they are, I am amazed how flexible this system really is. Especially at the owner level.

For under $100 you can get a fully customizable business. You can add or delete any of the programs within the script itself. You can even customize your capture pages and call it what ever business name you want. Plus, you can customize your own training program withing the system. Create your own training videos and use any autoresponder system you want.

Pros:

Pro 1: As an owner, you have a fully customizable business system. At the student level, you can customize up to 15 programs.

Pro 2: The Training in the system is pretty good. Especially if you are into using mailers and traffic exchanges.

Pro 3: The owner is very knowledgeable and available for questions and always seems to respond.

Cons

Con 1: Beginners usually do not see the advantages of a customizable system. This is really more of an advanced feature and benefit.

Con 2: There are a lot of programs to sign up for. This can be confusing for someone just starting out with internet marketing.

Con 3: There is a big learning curve to successfully use mailers and traffic exchanges. The only other marketing option is solo ads and they can be quite expensive. But, overall the training is a bit weak.

The Prosperity Marketing System, Products and Services

There are 5 main sections within the back office of PMS:

  • Training Courses
  • Income Builders
  • Personal Branding
  • Affiliate Center
  • Customize

We will cover Training Courses in the training section below.

Income Builders

This section covers the primary business, which, unless you are an owner, you will be directed to join your sponsors primary business. Of course, you don’t have to, if one of your prospects joins within the system and you don’t sign up for it, the referral commission will then go to your sponsor instead of you.

If you are an owner, then you can add your current primary business or any other affiliate program for that matter.

This section also covers the autoresponder. This, by default is GetResponse, which you can also be an affiliate for. If you choose not to use GetResponse as the autoresponder (you can choose another one in another section), you can still be an affiliate for GetResponse since it is free to be an affiliate. You can earn additional affiliate commissions when your prospects join under you.
GetResponse starts at $15 per month if you use the responder to build your own list, otherwise you will not be able to build an email list of your own. This is an added cost.

The Ad Tracker is covered in this section as well, and by default you are directed to an ad tracking company known as Trck.me with is a tracking service that tracks your capture page clicks as well as your op tins. You can track where all of your traffic is coming from and which one are generating op tins for you. This service also has a fee associated with it and it is $9.95 a month. You also can earn commissions from this service as well if your prospects join under you.

Another income builder in this section is known as the Advertising Coop. The advertising coop that is used is called Viral Traffic Coop, which is “an advertising cooperative that pools together member’s advertising funds in order to buy bulk traffic at huge discounts. This is a big win-win for everyone, in your case you can get great traffic at a dirt cheap price without lifting your finger”!

The Viral Traffic Coop is owned by Darren Olander as well as many of the viral mailers and safelists. He owns 10 different websites I believe.

The rest of the income builders in this section consist of list builders (safelists) and traffic exchanges, most of which are owned by Darren Olander. This whole system is built around the use of mailers and traffic exchanges.

Who is The Prosperity Marketing System For?

In my opinion the Prosperity Marketing System is for the marketer who likes and is very familiar with using mailers, safelists and traffic exchanges as their primary source of traffic. It has been my experience that there is whole network of internet marketers that are into these types of traffic generating programs.

They mostly consist of owners of these types of programs and their followers.

I honestly do not think this is the system for the beginning internet marketer who is primarily interested in simply making money on the internet. There are better ways of making money on the internet then spending hours a day reading emails and surfing traffic exchanges.

Prosperity Marketing System Training

Training Courses

The training courses consist of the essentials, Prosperity Marketing, Traffic Generation and Solo Ads.

The essentials consist of computer basics and internet marketing basics.

The computer basics include the following:

  • How to Cut, Copy, and Paste
  • Easy file management
  • How to download files from the internet
  • How to change your browser homepage
  • How to use favorites and bookmarks

The internet marketing basics are simply a brief explanation of “what is internet marketing and why is it so awesome”.

Very brief training in this section.

Prosperity Marketing

This section of the training is a description of the fact that PMS is an affiliate program and a marketing system. It provides you with a few capture pages to promote what is known as the “$12 funnel” and how you can earn $12 per month for each affiliate member you bring into the business. In addition to this, you can earn commission by promoting a variety of other programs known as downline builders. It then goes on to explain how PMS is the ultimate downline builder itself.

The training then goes into traffic generation which is a fairly extensive training on how to dominate viral list builders and safelists.

Once you are familiar with viral mailers and safelists, the training goes into how to effectively use traffic exchanges, and lists 6 traffic exchanges that the owner suggests using. He also suggests spending about 20 to 30 minutes a day surfing these traffic exchanges.

The training then goes on to say you should try solo ads. There is no real formal training here, just a link to a solo ad exchange known as Udimi solo ads.

My Final Thoughts The Prosperity Marketing System

This system would be ideal for…

I do believe if you are an experienced top Network marketer and you have a primary business and you are interested in having your team use a good system, then I would highly recommend the Prosperity Marketing System for that purpose.

The reason I say that is that, you can upgrade as an owner, fully customize the system to use any traffic method, training program or even customize your capture page under the name of your particular team. This would be an ideal program for that purpose.

Many top Network Marketers use customized systems for a large team and spend a lot of many for those types of programs. PMS would essentially do the same thing. It is fully customizable and, in my opinion, should primarily be used for that purpose.

What is Leased Ad Space and is it worth your time, effort and money?

We will answer this question in the following review. I actually came across Leased Ad Space years ago when I was promoting a Network Marketing Company online. Yes, It has been around for a while now. I joined the program mainly for the advertising and was not necessarily interested in the affiliate program.

I will focus on answering these questions and do my best to explain what this advertising platform is really all about. What is Leased Ad Space?

Leased Ad Space (LAS) is mainly a marketing platform to sell whatever products or services you want. The advertising platform is unique in that it offers a variety of ways to advertise your website. All the way from text ads to using your own blogging platform to drive traffic to whatever business or businesses you want to promote.

There is also an affiliate program associated with LAS where you can potentially make affiliate commissions. But, like I mentioned above, my focus when I joined was to use the system for marketing a particular business I was promoting at the time.

To fully review Leased Ad Space I will talk about both aspects of the program:

  • The Advertising Platform
  • The Affiliate Platform

How The Advertising Platform Works at Leased Ad Space

There are eight different advertising packages offered by Leased Ad Space, they are listed as follows:

  • Free
  • Pearl Package
  • Amethyst Package
  • Emerald Package
  • Saphire Package
  • Ruby Package
  • Diamond Package
  • Red Diamond Package

Each of the packages are sold of a one time payment, no monthly charges. The traffic packages include advertising such as:

  • Text Ads
  • banner Ads
  • Solo Ads
  • A Public Profile Page
  • A personal blog where you can post your own unique content (very cool indeed)
  • An AdBoard Directory
  • Search Engine traffic/all content is public (this feature is very under utilized, but very effective)

What is unique about these packages, is that they all come with both residual traffic features and one time traffic features. For example, the banner ad impressions and text ads are available until you use them up. When you want more, you would purchase then next package up.

However, the solo emails and Ad Board directory posts are available in an ongoing basis. Their frequency increases as the packages increase. For example, the Pearl Package offers a solo ad to be run every month, whereas the Red Diamond package offers a solo ad to be run every 48 hours. Just to let you know, the solo ads are quite effective. I have used them to drive traffic to various offers and they do give you a good number of clicks and opt ins.

I own the Pearl Package and send out a solo ad once per month. You can see the results that I get by looking at the image below:

As you can see from the above image, I got a 2.5% click through rate on one of my ads. That is figured by dividing the number of clicks by the number of recipients. That is a pretty good click through rate. Now I am only able to send one solo ad out per month with this package. But, for a one time purchase of less than $10 that is not bad.

Another interesting thing about Leased Ad Space is the effectiveness of their banner advertising. Normally banner advertising is not that effective because many people are banner blind these days. People are so used to seeing these types of ads that very few really click on them.

But to my surprise, the results I get from the banner ads at Leased Ad Space are just as effective as their solo ads. Check out the results I got from the image below:

As you can see I am getting anywhere from a 2.5% to about a 3% click through rate on their banner ads. Not too shabby if I say so myself.

Now that we have discussed the advertising side of things, let take a look at the affiliate program offered by Leased Ad Space.

As I mentioned before, I joined the program mainly for the advertising side of things. I continue to use the program to generate traffic to my existing business and it is very effective for driving traffic and earning me a great online income.

However, the affiliate program is available and is worth taking a look at.

Unlike what is said in many other reviews, LAS does not use a multi-level (MLM) compensation program, nor is it similar to a gifting program. It is simply based on your direct referrals making purchases of the advertising packages they use for their business.

It is a straight forward commission structure. If you refer a customer, and they make a purchase, you get a commission on that purchase. No complicated matrix to understand, no binary trees to figure out, no cycling or anything weird like that.

Commission Rate and Payouts

The commission rates are essentially based on the traffic package that the affiliate owns themselves. However, owning a package is not a requirement to be an affiliate or to earn affiliate commissions. Actually, you can earn affiliate commissions without even purchasing any of the packages.

There are commission levels though based on the traffic packages offered. The levels are as follows:

  • Recruits
  • Soldiers
  • Generals

Recruits are free members who get 25% on all sales they refer, even if they don’t own any of the packages. Soldiers get Paid 50% on all sales they refer, and they own at least one of the advertising packages themselves. Finally, there is the General who earns 75% commissions on all sales they refer. Generals own the highest package call the Red Diamond package.

Again, you are not required to purchase anything to become an
affiliate, but you will probably also be less successful with the
affiliate program if you do not. Commissions are paid out on a monthly basis.

Training and Support

Like a lot of programs like Leased Ad Space, there is not a lot of training and support when it comes to how to earn affiliate commissions with the program. Obviously, you cannot really use the traffic sources within Leased Ad Space to promote the affiliate program since everyone on the site is already a member.

So, unless you join a team lead that is willing to share their “secrets” to success, it is very difficult to get others to join and purchase the products. The site itself does not really show you effective ways to earn affiliate commissions. you are limited to what everyone else teaches, which is usually share on social media, solo ads from other sites, banner ads and that sort of thing.

This is the only real draw back I see from this program. I believe the training and support is more geared toward how to use the advertising platform to drive traffic to another business you may have. They do offer a good selection of “how to” videos on how to use each of the advertising packages.

The support from the owner himself is pretty good. Richard always seems to make himself available for questions through the help desk and his own social media channels.

Conclusion And Recommendation

So, to answer the above question regarding whether Leased Ad Space is worth your time, effort and money, I would have to say yes as far as the advertising platform is concerned.

I believe that Leased Ad Space is an excellent platform for advertising your current business with and I highly recommend using their personal blog feature to build a business or personal brand as well of a good backlink source for your own blog.

For example, if we are looking to sell a “how to” product and want to know what people are search for, then we can type in “how to a” and then “how to b” and then “how to c” and so on.

You can also do the process of the alphabet in front of the search term such as “a how to …” or b how to…” and so on.

This, in a nut shell is the alphabet soup technique.

Now once you find out what people are searching for you can then take the selected term, such as “learn how to play piano” from the Google results and plug that into a good keyword search tool to see how many searches a month that phrase is getting and you can also see how competitive the search term is to determine how easy it would be to get on the first page of Google.

As mentioned before, there is a lot of misinformation out there about how affiliate marketing actually works. It is really not as complicated as it may seem and I would like to point you into the right direction and simplify it for you.

In fact, if you stay with me here you will totally understand the process and use this space as a catalyst to start making money online. When you become an affiliate, you simply join an affiliate network that gives you a unique “affiliate link” to a product or a service which gives you the opportunity to earn a commission by sending someone to the product website and they make a purchase.

In some cases, affiliate networks will even pay you to simply get a name, email and other information without them even making a purchase. This is known as CPA or Cost Per Action. They pay you to get the prospect to complete an action like providing an email, phone number, or in some cases an address.

Different affiliate networks offer different levels of commission. You can make anywhere between 4% up to 80%.

Then the exciting step 4 happens. YOU MAKE MONEY!

As an example, let’s say you join an affiliate program such as Amazon or Clickbank. As an Amazon affiliate alone, you can have a choice of over 500
MILLION (yes, million) products to choose from. It is truly amazing when you consider the size of the opportunity you have in front of you. Or anyone for that matter.

If you send a prospect from your website, social media account, or from
a simple email through your provided affiliate link, say a fitness watch, you can potentially earn about 5% commission for that fitness watch. If it was an Apple Watch Series 4, for example for about $600, you would get paid $30. This might not sound like a lot of money, but consider how many people are purchasing these products each and every day.

To give you an idea, 18 million Series 3 Smartwatches were shipped only a few months after its September 2017 release. That is a big piece of the pie that one has available to them through affiliate marketing.

What if you sold 10 Apple Watch Series 4 watches a day (certainly possible if your review was ranked on the first page of Google)? That would be $300 a day. Not a bad income for simply putting in the effort.
